Nike iPod

  I would very much like the Nike + iPod widget installed on wordpress.com. It can be found here: http://www.ear-fung.us/apps/nikeplus/

  I run a lot, and blog almost all of my runs. I just got the Nike + iPod device, and it’s very “connected” to the internet and I’d think it a natural next step to automatically have my runs posted in my wordpress blog.

  You guys could start a running blog thread similar to the Art & Photography blog thread.

  This is one feature I can really get behind. The whole Nike internet initiative is very, very cool. I think WP.com would be or SHOULD be receptive to it. Nike runners’ lounges will actually loan you shoes and an ipod for your run! I know people who can’t afford their own new shoes who keep fit this way and the instant they get a job they go straight to the Nike store; it’s fabulous for brand loyalty, and a great social outreach program.

  I am torn between Blogger.com and WordPress. I lean more towards WP because the templates are much nicer and there’s no ugly blue bar at the top, but BLOGGER SUPPORTS THE NIKE IPOD WIDGET!

  Come on WP guys…keep up with the Jones! Why can’t one just paste the Nike+ code into your post?

  Make your Nike+ supporters happy please?
