Nishita – google analytics error, and remove gallery pages?
-
Hi!
We’re using a custom CSS of your Nishita wordpress.com theme, and we’ve recently started seeing these errors within google analytics;
Error: Missing required field “entry-title”
Error: Missing required field “updated”
Error: Missing required hCard “author”A little bit of research has shown there is a fix for themes on wordpress.org if you can change the php (which we can’t!). I was wondering if you have a work around or if there is a planned update to fix this?
Also we’d like to completely remove the gallery pages, at the moment we’ve done this by hiding the tags at the bottom of each post so the user can’t navigate to them, but if you manually type in the URL they still appear and Google seems to be indexing these pages. Any ideas?
Any help greatfully received!
Regards
Stuart

Microformat data – which is what Google’s Structured Data tool is looking for – is something we may consider adding in a future update of the theme.
Currently, not all themes support microformats, so Google’s Structured Data tool won’t show all themes as being compliant. There is no harm in this, it’s just not a type of data that we have added to this theme yet.
