Nishita Main Column Content Split on Moblie Devices
-
I’m currently using the Nishita theme for our CrossFit Gym’s website (www.crossfitshifted.com). Everything looks great except when viewed on a mobile device… on each of the pages, content in the main column gets cut and half, justified and pushed to the left side. Any ideas of how to fix this?
Thanks,

Howdy!
Nishita does not have an inherently mobile-friendly design. To better display your content on a mobile device, you can enable the default mobile theme, Minileven, by going to Appearance -> Mobile, and selecting “Yes” under Enable Mobile Theme. You can read more about Mobile Themes here.
You can also browse the Theme Showcase and sort by “Responsive Layout” (under Widths) to find themes that look best on mobile devices.
I hope this helps!

Hi,
Yes & no… I’m familiar with this option, however it looks so much better when the Full Site is displayed on mobile devices (minus the content split) as opposed to the Mobile Theme. Is there anyway to edit the CSS or format the HTML differently as a workaround? If not, perhaps it’s time to upgrade to a Premium Theme ;)

It’s possible to make changes to the CSS using Custom Design — there are a number of ways the theme could be made responsive using media queries, depending on how you want it to behave. If you have specific thoughts on how you’d like it to look, you can check out the CSS Customization forum for ideas/tips/questions.
And we do offer a number of free and premium themes that are already responsive, if you’re not feeling up to that much CSS. :)
