Nishita Theme featured image not showing
-
My blog is http://gmvader.wordpress.com/
I have a header image set for my blog. I also have featured images set for several of my pages (Archive, About). On the Twenty Eleven theme those featured images displayed as headers for those pages. In Nishita Theme I can’t get them to show up at all. Is there some reason that I can’t see them anymore. They are there in my dashboard as featured images on those pages but when I click Update and then view the page the default header image is the one that shows up on all of my pages.
Is there something I can do to make them show up?
I tried removing each one and re-uploading it but that didn’t work.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Does this mean that only thumbnails can be used? I’m trying to get different pages (not posts) to display a different header than the default. Is that not possible with this theme?
I did follow the guidelines. The pages are not marked as sticky posts because they are not posts.
Thanks.

I don’t see any mention of a featured image header in that theme description I linked to.

I don’t see that theme listed here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/#featured-header-images
What I see is this > http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/#other-featured-images -

Thanks.
It appears I misunderstood the purpose of a featured image. I thought that a featured image was always a header image.
Thanks for your help.
