Nishita Theme – no thumbnail generated

Nishita Theme:
I have 159 posts on my blog, http://blogbisogno.wordpress.com regarding famous quotes. At the top of my main blog page is a category list. When You click on “Quotes”, it takes you to a thumbnail/title page. The top post #0159 which I posted this morning has no thumbnail. How can I fix this?

I duplicated your issue in the Nishita theme. When adding an image to a post if you add the image with the Add Media button, the image appears in both the post and the front page of the site. That is the case with most of your posts.
If you add the image to the post using Add Featured Image button – lower right of Post edit screen – the image fails to appear in either place.
Moral of the story: use the Add Media button to add images to your posts.

Interesting. I always use the Add Media button at the top left. Are you talking about the Set featured image link? That is the only thing I see at the lower right. I suppose I could have clicked that by mistake while trying to click the Choose from the most used tags link just above it. i really don’t remember doing that though.
How do I correct this? Should I delete the image file and re-add it with the Add Media button? thanks for your help.

I noticed that the image file was not in my media library. Is this a clue that I hit the wrong button?
I went ahead and re-added the JPEG with the Add Media button, and now have a thumbnail.
