Nishita theme; page menu disappeared…
-
I’ve had my website for over four years now running the same Nishita theme. Today the menu bar has disappeared. I’m using Google Chrome on my PC and Safari on my iPad, and it’s not displaying on either. The Pages are still visible on my WP admin menu…
What’s going on?
Thanks
EO

Hi, I have exactly the same problem.
This is the blog : vxwxvxwxvxwxv.wordpress.com
and there used to be three menu buttons linking to the “pages” above the “welcome” area.
I looked around the pages settings but could not find a clue as to what’s happening.
Help would be appreciated…
Thanks ! -
Thanks for the reports of the menu issue in Nishita; we are investigating and will let you know as soon as it’s fixed.
The issue only appears to affect the default menu; creating a custom menu would be a workaround to get it to appear.
We’ll keep you posted.

my menu bar isn’t center aligned anymore as of yesterday and it has been centered with css for years…what is the new css code to center the menu again?
-
nevermind i think I found it….this works?
div#header-inner { text-align: center; width: 97%; } #header #header-inner ul#nav { display: inline-block; width: auto; } -
well, that worked except now the drop downs are centered too. how can I make the drop down menu left aligned so it is underneath the main tab?

Hi there, add the following at the bottom of your custom CSS to left align the submenus.
#nav .children { text-align: left; }
