No Ability to Edit Posts – Missing Edit Checkbox in Posts Screen

    HELP!!!!

    I discovered an old blog that I had – and for some reason it is under a different user name even though my role is “author” in the blog dashboard. I can’t edit my old blog posts or more importantly just delete them / turn them on private!

    The usual “Edit Posts” page doesn’t have the edit check boxes at all. I can’t select any of the blogs!!

    PLEASE HELP!

    “Author” is one of the limited User Roles. If you created the site that you refer to, I suspect that you may have created it in (or at some point transferred it to) another account. You’ll need to log in to the other account and be an administrator of the website to have full access and power over the site.
