hi, i have just published my First post but when i try to locate my blog outside the platform i have constructed with wordpress i get the following message

hey! i have just checked the website address on my account settings as you have advised me and the address there seems to be the correct one. The one you have on your answer to me as http://artemisinthemetallicforest.com/ The only difference is that on my account settings the address is missing in the very end the dash..I have copy and pasted for you just so you can see a bit better what i mean. http://artemisinthemetallicforest.com Is that dash playing a significant role? Could this missing detail be the reason why i get so much trouble to access the site when i am not logged in on wordpress? thank you!

When I click on your username here in the forum, it links to http://artemisinthemetallicforest.com.wordpress.com As far as I know that’s the address link that will appear when you post in the forums and/or comment on other people’s sites and can be changed under Web Address on this page in the New Dashboard https://wordpress.com/me/account
If you don’t see artemisinthemetallicforest.com.wordpress.com under Web Address on your account page, I’ll tag this for Staff clarification.
Hope my above explanation about HTTPS was clear for you.

sure it is! thank you! i will not change anything at the moment as this morning i accessed my blog as a visitor (i had not logged in in my wordpress account) and i entered from all google entries that appeared just fine so fingers crossed it will stay this way!thank you so much for all of your help!
