No access to Classic Editor
-
Hi!
I know that the switch to block editor has been made across the board, but I’m pretty sure that until recently, I was able to still access the WP Classic Editor for writing new posts by going through the WP Admin panel. That option now seems to have disappeared.
(I think this is a similar problem to the one described here except that my account is not a new one, I’ve had it for several years.
Is there any option to restore the Classic Editor option to my site please?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I still see the classic editor option for your site at https://ruthdawkins.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php
Click the arrow next to the Add New button to select it for new posts, and if you hover your mouse pointer over any existing post you’ll see links to edit it using either the classic or block editor.

Okay, I see that now – it used to be that adding a post from the sidebar opened it in classic but now there’s the additional step. Thanks so much for your help!
