no access to media library files

  there is no link anywhere on the admin dashboards to access the ‘media – library’ files. this means i cannot delete and re-upload, etc. any clues greatly appreciated. free account. mac. chrome. there is nothing that looks like this: https://en.support.wordpress.com/media/deleting-files/ or this: https://en.support.wordpress.com/?s=clearing+uploaded+files

  Hi there, the media library is hidden in the new dashboard, but you can still access it using the old WP Admin panel. Try this URL to get there directly: https://riverhouseprints.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php

  Why is it hidden? I am having the same problem. I used your link (with my domain) above and it works… Nice looking media lib page. I’ll put a bookmark on it, but how curious to make it hard to get to.

  My WordPress book by Matthew MacDonald shows a black Reader Dasherboard, but I see it only intermittently. I can’t see a pattern to why it shows up sometimes and not others.
