No ad related stats since yesterday, 24th/25th empty, non-ad stats are fine.

Since yesterday my ads stopped tracking, the only thing changed that i noticed at first was google ads became wordads i had google ads from the beginning, this happened after I made posts with the download file block an imgur links embedded, got rid of these today hoping it will fix things, my wordads have gone back to google ads so that is nice i guess, but my stats are still not being tracked, i only have premium, so no console or plugins etc etc thanks in advance!!!!

Found the reason, european whatever-majig has flagged my site as con compliant, I fail the following prerequisites all of the sudden;
Prior consent on other than strictly necessary cookies (ePR)
Personal data is transmitted to ‘adequate countries’ only (GDPR)
googling made me find stuff about the cookie banner, i have no control over this though, I just have the wordpress.com premium for adsense monetization it worked fine till latest 2 posts.

UPDATE people saying not to trust most scanner service like cookiebot, how do I actually get my site unflagged? I saw in closed threads that wordpress workers have assisted with this in years prior!

UPDATE 2 the reason is because i need cookie consenting stuff on all my pages, for some reason it stopped working (since I assume it was working before otherwise why offer ad monetization to the non-plugin tier aka premium)

FINAL UPDATE googling a lot switching things around removing some more embedded things my stats finally updated, and stayed fine even after switching back things (besides embedded posts which i think now were causing the initial conflict and breaking of the cookie consent banner)

Hi there,
I see that you recently switched to the Twenty Twenty Three theme, and one thing I wanted to point out is that newer themes like this do not have the ability to show “widgets” such as the ones our classic themes use. As a result, when you switched your theme this banner was removed since there was no way to display the cookies and consent widget. For the time being we do not have another way to add that banner but you can consider using a plugin as a workaround: https://wordpress.com/plugins/?s=Cookie+%26+Consents+Banner
You can also choose to switch back to one of our classic themes for the time being, which will also allow you to add the cookies and consent widget as normal.

Consider making that priority we are talking cross country laws here….
Btw I did not switch, I switched from and then back (and the banners are working for me on the 23 theme again like they did before) Had my friends check, they get a pop up instead of widget version (the you accept cookies automatically by browsing one) this pop up (which i call banner since that is what google calls all of them) was what broke and figured out the reason was the posts where I embedded imgur links.
After 2 days of googling I found some old forum post about embedded things or widgets conflicting with the European cookie pop up that is automatically placed by officials.
Thanks for the reply though <3 also my case might be helpful to others i am succesfully using the 23 theme and complying with cookie laws, just gotta watch what you embed

Adding to this advising a personal user to upgrade from premium (already paying) to business to fix a simple lawful compliance was not very kudos of you XD
