No 'Add New' option in the Themes page

    I am looking to use the Plato theme, which I can not find in the 350 odd themes in Apppearance>Themes. So I downloaded the theme separately. But now I can’t find the ‘Add new’ icon at the left top corner. Am I missing anything?

    Howdy –

    WordPress.com is a shared environment and there are some limits on what you can add to your site. One of those limitations is that you aren’t able to upload an outside theme to your WordPress.com site, you will have to use a theme from our showcase.

    You can install the Plato theme to a self hosted WordPress site. More information on that can be found at https://wordpress.org/support/ on the left hand side look for the Getting Started materials.
