no “add new theme” tab or option in “appearance”

  i am going batty! i have godaddy hosting and installed wordpress on it perfectly today. i manually uploaded the apeture theme to the correct folder via ftp today. i am logging into wordpress with an “admin” user.

  i have NO “ADD NEW THEME” option on the appearance section of the dashboard?! i cannot get the new theme loaded (and i’m going to scream)!!!
  i am a techie and not a dumb person – help!

  Sorry, you are in the wrong forum and need to head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ as that is where self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported.

  These forums are for those hosted here on the wordpress.COM free hosting service and things here work differently and our answers typically will not work for you.

  Do you know that there are two separate and distinct kinds of WordPress?
  wp.COM
  wp.ORG

  If you have installed WordPress software on a site you are paying to host, then you are in the wrong forum.

  If you are talking about the site linked to your name, then reading the above has let you know that we can’t add new themes on wp.com
