No "add poll" button?

  I’m trying to add a poll to a blog post I’m currently drafting, but there’s no option in my editor on the wordpress site to insert one. I have the “add media” option, but no buttons for “add poll” or “add contact form.” The latter two buttons seem to have disappeared with the new-look editor as of a few days ago.

  I just checked my “new” editor and you are right, they aren’t there …

  Staff or one of the more experienced forum members will probably answer you, but the workaround would be to use the “classic” editor for now. In your Dashboard :

  Posts –> Add New

  Those two buttons aren’t in the new editor. They are only available in the classic editor. It’s anyone’s guess why they didn’t include those in the new.

  The only way to have access to those buttons is to use the classic editor, as @doncharisma said. You’ll need to go to the WP-Admin dashboard (http://commandboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin) to access the classic editor (Posts ->Add New or Posts ->All Posts ->Edit).
