No Ads Grandfathering

I manage a blog for a registered 501c3. It is a non-profit charitable foundation that serves a community with a rare neurological disorder, myself included. We didn’t have to pay for No Ads but I neglected to opt-in again when necessary. Darn my feeble brain! Now ads are showing on our blog. Is there any way my foundation can be grandfathered in, and not have to buy the add-on for No Ads?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

No Ads have always been a paid upgrade, and I see you had it on your account until January of this year when it expired. Your last renewal payment was on 9 January 2015.

At this point it’s not possible to add that upgrade back on your site, but we offer a Personal plan at $6 more a year than No Ads used to cost which also includes a free domain and access to live chat support.

If you’re willing to upgrade to this plan I can give you a discount for the $6 for the first year so you can add the plan at the same price as No Ads used to cost. I’ve added that value in credits to your account, so you can go to My Site ->Plans to add the Personal Plan.
