No Ads upgrade

  I’m confused about the No Ads upgrade. Will ads only appear on a site with wordpress[dot]com in the URL? In other words, do I need a No Ads upgrade if I purchase the domain registration and mapping feature?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  To support the service (and keep free features free), we sometimes run advertisements, and the agreement for this has been in our terms of service since 2006.

  A domain registration only pays for the domain itself. It does not cover the service costs, like hosting, hardware, bandwidth, personnel, etc, which are covered by the ads and the No-Ads Upgrade.

  We try hard to only run them in limited places. If you would like to completely eliminate ads from appearing on your blog, we offer the No-Ads Upgrade: http://store.wordpress.com/premium-upgrades/ad-free/
