"no ads upgrade" for $30

    Hi everybody,
I would like to remove ads from my free blog. In WordPress.com Store, they advertise a “no ads upgrade” for $30. However, when I click on it, it only gives me the option of the premium for 90$. Any idea of what is going on?
Thank you very much for any information

You have a new account – recent accounts and blogs are now subject to the new Cable TV Bundle Up-Sell need to buy a bundle pricing plan – you now need to buy stuff you probably don’t want, can’t use (space upgrade for instance) – the No Ads only upgrade is not available to new accounts – only the bundle thing

Sorry – I and other argued against the new Cable TV Bundle Up-Sell Bundle plan but we lost the argument – used to be you could purchase only what you needed

Hum… this is what I was thinking. Not very cool to not inform people before they set up their blog.

Thank you very much for this information :)

Can I suggest that WordPress remove the ‘Ads Free £20’ wording. I’ve just gone round in circles for the last half hour searching for an option that doesn’t exist for new accounts. I’ve also told colleagues in my organisation that it only costs £20 to remove ads, now I’ve got to go back and tell them that it costs over 3 times that amount. It’s certainly put the breaks on our adoption of blogs as a local authority. Such a shame. I’ll be exploring other platforms.
