No am or pm for scheduled postings (???)
-
Hi all,
I need a post to go up tomorrow morning at 7 am on the dot. Problem is, when I choose the time, it does not give me the am or pm option, so my post could end up posting at 7 pm! I searched high and low, can’t find the am or pm anywhere.
Thanks in advance,
Lisa

You be welcome
PS – it will not publish until someone visits your site, then the time will be adjusted back to the scheduled time if you don’t have any visitors until for example 0722.

Wait a second, someone has to visit my site in order for the entry to post at the scheduled time?? It’s imperative that it’s up at 7am. What if somoeone doesn’t come by until later?

It will be there for the first person that visits at 0659 or later – if nobody visits does it really matter if it is published? Your Post will be there for the proper visitors –
I mentioned this in case you visit your site in the morning using the dashboard and don’t see the Post as published yet because you had not had any visitors yet. I just wanted to avoid the PANIC that would occur in the morning and your post to the Forum here.
Relax – all is well

OK..LOL..deep breaths…deep breathes. SO, when someone/anyone clicks on my home page, or any other page on my blog at or after 6:59am, it will automatically post?

Yes that is correct
I have seen a few people show up here and they had visited their site using the Dashboard and they did not see the Post published (because they had not had a visitor yet) and they were in a panic mode – just wanted to get a bit ahead of the whole thing.
If you are worried or curious – visit your site in the morning while you are logged out in the morning and see your Post.
