no appearance editor

  There is no “Appearance” option in my editor.
  I have options for dashboard, profile, tools, upgrades only.
  How do I get an “appearance” function, please?

  The problem is that you have not yet registered a blog (only a username). To get a blog, simply visit http://wordpress.com/signup while logged into your account.
