no appearance options on dashboard menu

  Hi there. I have a free plan created ages ago. I want to change the theme (prepared to pay if necessary but would rather not until I can try themes out). Appearance is nowhere on my menus. these are the options available: My Profile
  Account Settings
  Purchases
  Security
  Privacy
  Manage Blogs
  Notification Settings
  Blocked Sites
  Get Apps
  Collapse menu
  I have looked on the help optiions and I could change the theme if my menus actually showed what they were supposed to show. Please help. Thanks!

  Have you tried clicking on manage blogs in order to select the specific blog you want to work with? Alternatively go to you blog url adding /wp-admin (so rosiecolours.wordpress.com/wp-admin) at the end, the menu including appearnce should be visible :)
