No Authenticator App – new phone number for two-factor

  My phone number has changed. I used my back-up code to log into my account. Even though I changed my phone number for my account, the one for my two-step verification remains the old one. How do I change it if I do not have the authenticator or the old phone?

  No, actually this didn’t help because as I said, I don’t have access to the old phone. So you can’t disable that way… but… I did find that you Can disable TFA using one of your codes.

  Hi there,

  If you can’t receive codes on the original device/number anymore, you’ll also need to use a backup code to disable 2FA, yes :)
