No blog entries for 3 months–lack of comments

I posted regularly until April 2014 then I stopped until July 2014. I used to get a few likes or comments. Then It seemed like from the lack of comments in July that I had fallen off the face of the earth. I guess 3 months are an eternity in the blogosphere?

You only asked one question.
If you don’t blog, you don’t get any comments except spam. With a three month layoff, you are essentially starting from scratch.

If you want comments and hits and readers, then you need to post regularly—often is more likely to increase your traffic.

I noticed a lot of the forums are closed to new replies.
I saw one where someone said they only(!) received 200 comments to their blog
20 would make me happy
I added tags on recent posts but that 3 month hiatus hurts—people must think I died or worse; lost my internet connection :(
