No Bylines Appear in Mobile Theme

Minileven (mobile) theme does display the “Posted By: {Author}” — both on the homepage and the blog entry page. Can this be adjusted to make the author’s name appears? The blog I am working with is http://scholarlykitchen.sspnet.org/

No author bylines will appear unless there are two authors both of whom have each published a post on the blog. WordPress.com Changes Bylines for Authors

This could be done because on mobiles there is so little space to work with. It’s like trying to jamb 10 pounds of stuff into a 5 pound bag.

There are other sites i have come across where the byline does appear and I believe these are using the Minileven theme. One example: http://judithcurry.com/
I have multiple authors and it is really confusing for readers, because they don’t even appear on the blog entry page.
Are there any other options or a place where I can put in a request for this functionality?

Minileven does not display bylines on posts. As thesacredpath says, we aim to keep the mobile interface as simple as possible.
The blog that you linked has actually typed in the bylines manually inside the text of each post. You could give this a shot if you like.
