No Cancel/Refund Email – 2nd attempt button freezes on site

I tried to cancel/refund within minutes of purchase. I realized I want wordpress.org not wordpress.com. They had dotcom spelled out in my name – really? I never wanted that – I already have a domain. Ironically I received the delete account email within seconds but I haven’t received a refund confirmation email and I am doubtful it will come at this point. Please cancel and refund my account asap.

Hi there. When you created your site you entered .com in the box instead of only the name. It’s a very common error when people create new blogs and easily fixed. You can just change your address to one without dotcom.

You can find instructions on changing your blog URL in our support doc: http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

    I already have a domain

You can map ministylebox.comover to your WordPress.com blog and make it your primary domain. If you do this, no one will see ministyleboxdotcom.wordpress.com.

Please cancel and refund my account asap.

I see that you were able to cancel your upgrades and receive a refund. However, in the future, if you ever want to create a blog with a domain you already purchased, feel free to follow the instructions above.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks!
