No changes are visible after editing my WordPress.com site. e
-
I log into my wordpress.com site which forwards to my domain name. I use my domain/wp-admin. I make some updates, but no matter what I do, the changes aren’t made in other browsers or on my phone. Here’s an important example. The link to my new resume is correct, but when I test it, there’s a page not found error and in the browser it still points to the old resume.
I have read up on various ways to fix the problem but I have become more confused based on the articles I have read online. I pay $13 a year to forward to my own domain name. I don’t have much money to pay for things like hosting or CDN stuff so pressing command+R on my Macbook Air doesn’t do much. I have cleared the history, rebooted the computer, but still no changes. Would the CDN stuff have anything to do with Namecheap being my domain registrar? I feel they might send me back to WordPress. Is there a simple way to find out if someone responded to my cry for help like an email notification? I am concerned that I might be digging through the support forum for my own question and any answers. Thanks. Be safe and well.

Hello @dmjschwartz,
I’m sorry to hear about the issues you’re having updating your site. With the error you described, this may not be related to CDN or hosting. I checked your Resume page here https://dmjs.us/my-resume/, and it displays the PDF file which was uploaded in January 2025 as shown in the file URL. Could you please share more about the specific area you updated but not shown on the live site? If there are also other pages encountering the same error, please share them to us so we can further check. Thank you!
