Right @supernovia Thank you SO much for that video, that was most helpful! I started via your instructions and surprised myself by how it started forming that way but your video showed it perfectly.
However, is there a way how the poll can be placed on TOP of the image like my original one did? I know for others it won’t matter but for me it looked wrong.
There is also the same problem that I can’t view the images on the poll like I first mentioned or is that the old version now going out you speak about?

Ok questions are:
1. is there a way to put the poll OVER the image?
2. and does anyone think its the windows 10 version why I wasn’t seeing the images mentioned a while ago?
As @Musicdoc1 said not everyone wants to have to use new things all the time – I am having as you know HUGE problems seeing the images so was prepared to use a new image but now that doesn’t seem possible without it being at the side rather than the image being used as a background which looks most untidy and unprofessional to me.
Also I agree with @musicdoc1 it is the same with the themes, ok I use free ones, but I like the columns offered where most of the themes now don’t seem to offer that now….?

I’m afraid that won’t be possible. What @supernovia shared is an alternative to still be able to use the image you like with your poll.

Yes, the images you used to use are the “old version” and are going to be removed in the near future. Your Windows version has nothing to do with it.

Right ok. Well thats a shame. At least I know my Windows version is the problem.
I have to say I think its a real shame that when developers or whoever it is decided on progress and to delete things like themes or in my case Poll images, and people dont like it, they surely should listen to them?
Oh well never mind.
I shall keep looking at the video @supernovia posted which was most helpful and informative.

I wanted to try out @supernovias recipe on how to set up the /media and /poll.
That worked fine.
Except; there are a couple of discoveries I could not find a way to adjust/change.
They could exist even if I did not find it.
Also; surprise surprise! Edit page and preview/publish page are different things!You’ll find the result of my try-out here for a couple of days:

Oh my God @Petpoisvideos thats brilliant! Is there a way you could move that box further up over the pic? You have it over it at the bottom anyway….?
How did you manage it as you said you tried it with cover block?

Apologies @Petitpoisvideos the page didnt load enough for me to read what you put re the frame…….it has now…..such a shame and I totally agree with your statement it would look much better if you could move it over the image.

I have added 2 more examples using cover block.

This time, color of frame would change.
You would have to get rid of the add for crowdsignal….hm….Still the annoying fact that things – when editing color etc – are not updating on the edit page. Have to go back and forth to preview.
It’s really bugging me.
In the poll block, buttons will not change to any color but brown while you edit.
Choose blue – and there you go! On the preview/published page. -

Hi @petitpoisvideos yeah apologies, it was my birthday and enjoying the bank holiday so haven’t been around till now. That’s ok don’t worry, thank you for your help.
It does seem obvious that I can’t now have a pic up with a poll on it, so maybe the developers could consider allowing that in the future? Ok they’ve discontinued it now but what I mean is to offer it to people who do wish to still use it?
As @Musicdoc1 has stated, they discontinue certain themes in the hopes we use newer ones but what about those who are happy with older themes? They should have the option to still use them.
Just my opinion.
