no comment box on my blog

  For some reason there is no comment box on my blog. I’ve gotten emails from a few of my friends who told me that they can’t comment on my blog. I don’t know how to fix this so that the comment box will show up again.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hiya aerykah!

  Let us try this first –
  either click to write a new post or edit an old one…

  1.) While you are in the post page, there should be a tab up at the top that says “screen options” click this.

  2.) There should be an option that says “Discussion” click that check box next to it.

  3.) Scroll down past your post editor and you will see a box labeled “Discussion” that has two options “Allow comments” and
  “Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page.”

  4.) Click the checkbox next to “Allow comments” and update or post your blog.

  The comment box should appear for this specific post. If it work just make sure to keep this option the same when posting :)

  I did that & it worked. Thank you for the help! :)

  I didn’t used to have to check that on every post. I have no idea when this changed, so I guess I’ll have to go back on every post to see if it has a comment box…
