-
Hey everyone,
I’m stumped and I feel silly. Originally we decided not to enable comments, but now we want to turn them back on.. and I can’t!

Any suggestions?

I just left you a comment. Note: you only see the “Leave a Comment” box when you are looking at a single post; you won’t see it when you are looking at your Home page with several posts. Some themes have “no comments (meaning none yet)” or words to that effect but it looks like yours does not.

Just checked out the theme Black Letterhead by Ulysses Ronquillo. It does normally have “Leave a Comment” but you did some customization on it. I know nothing about CSS but perhaps that has something to do with it?

Are there any specific posts giving you trouble? When you go to edit the post, refer to the “Comments & Pings” area – you will see the option to “Allow Comments”. As long as this option is checked, users can submit comments to the post.
Like 1tess said, you do have some custom CSS going on, so this may be a visual issue. If you click on the post title, however, and scroll down, you should see the comment text area.

Definitely a custom css issue (ie scenario where I customized the css but shouldn’t have because i don’t actually know enough about it).
On another note.. can I adjust the width of the entry form? (Under “Send us a Message”?)

I think this is the problem:
.postmetadata { display:none; }Looks like you chose not to display it.
