No comments box on post with comments enabled.

I posted this yesterday:
http://hoosteeno.com/2015/03/18/mdn-product-talk-the-case-for-experiments/
It doesn’t have a comment submission form in the 2 browsers I’ve tested on. I learned this from someone who commented on a prior post and also couldn’t find a comment submission form on this post.
In wp-admin, the post appears to have comments enabled. Other posts with comments enabled have a comment submission form (e.g. the one just prior, http://hoosteeno.com/2015/03/10/mdn-product-talk-business-context/).
What’s wrong?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I have enabled comments on that post. If you want to allow comments on all posts, please go to Posts > All posts in your Dashboard. Then select all posts by checking the box left of “Title”. Then, go to the drop down menu labeled “Bulk Actions” and select “Edit”. Click on “Apply”, and you will see another dropdown menu next to “Comments”. Select “Allow”, and click “Update”.
This should enable Comments on all the blog posts you checked off.

gracejiyoung, thanks. That appears to have fixed the issue, though I can’t understand why the bulk action worked and the in-post checkbox did not. Is this a workaround for a known issue?
FWIW, once the bulk action was taken, the in-post checkbox seems to behave as expected once again.

No it will work within the post, but I find that the Bulk option is just faster.
Cheers!
