“no comments” shows up, I don’t even want that to show

  Just started a blog, practicing a little. Anyway, I don’t want comments on it probably. I have said no comments on my setup, however in each post it shows “no comments” anyway to remove that?

  If you have css customization experience and you are willing to purchase an upgrade you will be able to cover over this. But without the upgrade the answer is no.

  Your choice is when you create your post, in the column at the right of the post writing area, you will find a blue bar marked “discussion”. If you click on the “+” sign in that bar, you can disallow comments on a per post basis.

  Indeed what thesacredpath says will disallow readers leaving comments on any individual blog post. However, if what you want to do is remove is the “no comments” or phrase “comments closed” phrase that automatically appears on some themes regardless of setting the posts up to disallow comments, then you cannot remove the phrase without the css upgrade.
