No confirmation email

  I joined yesterday, but haven’t received a confirmation email and so can’t go any further.
  I have also done two more ‘resend’ requests, and have checked junk/spam.

  Hello kokkieh.

  No, still not received, plus I cannot sign in to WordPress with my email address – it ‘shakes’ and says “ERROR: Invalid email address”.

  All I want is an avatar on one site. Didn’t think it was going to be this difficult!

  Hi there,

  I realise it’s frustrating, but we need to verify that your email address is working and that you can both receive emails from us, and send emails to us, as that email address is the only way to verify that you are the owner of the account.

  I see the email address in your account is showing as yahoo.co. Are you sure that’s correct and that it shouldn’t be yahoo.com? If it’s a typo, please change the email under your account settings, here:
  https://wordpress.com/me/account/

  That should send a new confirmation email to the new address.

  Let me know if that also doesn’t work, or if the email address is not a typo.
