Hi there,
There is a glitch in our system that prevented you from receiving the activation e-mail from us. We apologize for the inconvenience. However, I have fixed the issue on our end, so you should be ready to go. Let me know if you have any questions.

I’ve just tried to create an account so I could ask some questions at WP support, but I’m experiencing the same problem. I’m never getting the confirmation email.

Hi formlesspoet,
The email address for your formlesspoet account was verified several weeks ago. If you need help logging into an account, please use this link to start a new thread for your question and tag it with modlook.
We’ll be happy to help you there.
Thanks!

I have an odd thing occurring where I started my blog, just to see what it would look like, at wordpress.com, then decided to install WordPress at my site and go from there. I ended up creating the second site under one account, but somehow managing under another–the one that I used to create the first have-a-look-see blog at wordpress.com.
I absolutely was not able to use the forum using formlesspoet or wornways or the email I used to setup each of the two blogs. But, then something clicked and now I’m finally in using wornways.
A lot of hoops.

Hi formlesspoet,

The formlesspoet account you have contacted us from owns one site, creativedigitalheritage.wordpress.com. Can you send me a link to the second site you are referring to?

You are currently posting from the formlesspoet account, not wornways.

The original person to open this thread has the site you’re talking about. I just commented as I looked for a solution to my own problem. Things are working for me right now, though I don’t think they’re working as they’re supposed to.
For instance, here I post as “formlesspoet” (which own’s formlesspoet.wordpress.com and apparently mochinet.com/FormlessPoet/ as well). But when I go to post in WP’s plugin support forums, the account I end up posting under is “wornways”. Not logging out and back in. Each WP site is treating my arrival differently.

Here’s a post of mine at wordpress.org: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/modified-your-plugin-to-allow-me-to-change-ogtitle-in-the-post/
You’ll see it’s posted by “wornways”.

WordPress.com and WordPress.org don’t share user database. On WordPress.com you have @formlesspoet username while on WordPress.org you have @wornways username.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are separate and can be confusing. More about the difference can be seen on https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

You’re welcome @formlesspoet
@accountscolonymediacompanycom, you have posted your question in a separate thread. Please wait for someone from the support team to respond to you there. Please do not post in threads started by other users.
