No Confirmation Email

  Hi,
  I’m attempting to set up Gravatar so I can upload a profile photo that will display when I make posts. I didn’t receive the confirmation email and can’t proceed further.

  I tried all of the solutions I could find on your Support pages. I tried clicking ‘Resend.’ I checked my Junk/Spam folder. I did a password reset. I made sure the 3 email addresses from WordPress/Gravatar were whitelisted with my email provider. Attempted again to resend confirmation email. Nothing.

  Hi @devinnkg, I can see the system has attempted to send those. They may be showing up in your social folder.

  I’ve also sent a manual confirmation link if you’d like to watch for that.

  Please update us here in this thread if you need more help.

  Thanks for the quick response!

  I don’t have a Social folder on Outlook. I’ve checked all of the available email folders just to be sure and I don’t see a confirmation email anywhere.

  I sent an email to that address and included a link to this thread so they could get context. I got this email in return:

  Hi there!
  Your WordPress.com account is still connected to the email you are contacting us from.
  Therefore, I generated a password reset link on my end for you to try:
  [reset link]
  It should be able to get you back into your account without issue.

  That isn’t the issue I am having, so I replied, clarifying my inability to receive your confirmation email. That was four days ago and I haven’t had a response yet. Any updates?

  @devinnkg: Gravatar uses WordPress.com user accounts for account management, and what Simran helped you with is what confirmed your account. Since your account is confirmed now, you don’t need to get another confirmation email and you should be able to log into Gravatar.com now.

  I refreshed my WordPress user profile and my profile picture still says “Verify Your Email.”

  I also refreshed gravatar.com, clicked “Log In,” and was immediately taken to the landing page that says “We sent you a confirmation email!”

  I never got an initial confirmation email, and all subsequent attempts to receive one have failed. Can you please just confirm it manually so I can upload a profile picture?

  Thanks for confirming. I took a look at your account and I do see that it’s still prompting you to verify the account! :/

  I pulled up the email correspondence you had with WordPress.com support and it doesn’t look like they confirmed your account after all! My apologies!

  Since we’ve verified that you can send and receive email from the email address on file for your account, I verified it for you.

  NOW you should be able to log in! :)

  I also marked your email support request as resolved for now since I took care of you here.
