No confirmation email

I am starting a blog but I do not receive a confirmation email in my inbox and apparently there are many of us in this case. There is nothing in spam or ads, I do not receive anything despite my repeated requests. It’s a terrible bug in WP that makes you want to switch platforms immediately. Maybe the idea is to charge us for activating the blog?

Hi, can you contact your email provider? I checked our logs to see what is wrong, and the mail servers is refusing these messages.
For now, if you’d like, you can go to https://wordpress.com/me/account and enter a different email address, then confirm that. Just don’t use one with that email provider until they’ve resolved the issue.
Regarding free sites and upgrades, we do appreciate when our users buy plans: plans help us cover the cost of all of our services, including free sites. You are more than welcome to keep a free site though if that is your wish. We only ask that you confirm your email address to help reduce problems with spam.
