No confirmation email for verification received

    Dear WordPress,

    For some reason I am not receiving any confirmation emails to confirm. Therefore, not able to start building my website.

    This message is still appearing at the top of my wordpress –

    Please verify your email address

    To post and keep using WordPress.com you need to validate your email address. Please click the link in the email we sent at (email visible only to moderators and staff).

    Resend activation email OR change the email address on this account.

    I have clicked on this numerous times and still not receiving anything. Please help, as I have already purchased and paid for my domain name. I have checked my junk mail and nothing. I have also tried to have it sent to a different email address but WordPress is not allowing that either. PLEASE HELP!

    Please check your email client spam filter. If you are having trouble receiving email through a Gmail or Google Apps account please see here https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/gmail-issues/

    I checked your account and I see you were able to confirm your email address after sending this message. Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

    I, too am having trouble with receiving my confirmation email. It isn’t in my spam folder, and I have checked all settings of my email account. Nothing from WordPress is blocked/filtered.
    I have my own thread about this, but as of yet have had no reply.
    I have a hotmail (live) account.
    Is there anything I can do?

    Thank you everyone,

    I was eventually able to change my email address and have an email sent to new email account. Everything is working now.

    Nashcrafts – I ended up opening up a new email account and had the confirmation email sent to the new email address. I have no idea why the email was not being sent to the email address I originally registered with.
