No confirmation email received, don't know what to do

Help me, I haven’t received my confirmation email. So I can’t start writing and I really want to.
I checked my spam and there is nothing in there. I have already pressed the send confirmation mail a Thousand times..

@sarahderycke, in your case, it looks like you tried to change your email address recently. Did you do that because you were having trouble with verifying before or is your email wrong on the https://wordpress.com/me/account page and it needs to be changed?
Do you remember whether or not you completed an email verification step when you first signed up?
Do you remember if you signed up for another service such as Gravatar, Akismet, or Polldaddy before you created your WordPress.com site?
Did you originally sign up using the WordPress mobile app?
Basically, can you tell me everything you can remember about exactly how you signed up originally? :)

I have made this account a year ago, but didn’t do anything with it. I totally forgot that I had it and recently I wanted to make a new account, but they said the email was already in use (because of before). So I changed my password, so I could get on that account and I’m still on the same account, but with a new password.
And I already checked my email and it’s the right one, and the only one I have.
I did everything they asked , but I can’t remember completing an email verification step.
I really want to post something.
That’s all I remember. Made one before, didn’t use or deleted it, wanted to make a new one, did it with same email (only different password), that’s it I guess:)

I need a little help. I wanted to create a new account with the email (email visible only to moderators and staff) and username trafficsorcerer and I didn’t receive any confirmation email. Now the username trafficsorcerer is reserved and I cannot register with this username for another email account. What should I do?

The trafficsorcerer account looks like it was created and confirmed. If you are the owner, then you should be able to log out first and then log in as trafficsorcerer using the password you used to create the account.
If you are unable to log in, you will need to follow the steps at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/
