No Confirmation Email Recieved for new account – In limbo

    I am trying to help my sister get started on wordpress. She filled out the sign-up page, but the confirmation email has not arrived after six hours, so we are stuck. We’ve looked in her mail client for “from” “wordpress.com” with no luck. I am only here another day, so waiting won’t help. I assume she filled her email address correctly, because when she tries to sign-up again, we get a “registration pending” message. But no way to send another confirmation email and I can’t find a phone number or even an email. Please advise. Thanks! I don’t want to give her email out, but she gave divalarson.wordpress.com as her desired URL. The “inretrospect.wordpress.com” url is my url and irrelevant to this problem.
