No confirmation emails

    Hi, I am a teacher and have signed myself up for a wordpress account. I have a class of 30 children who have also made their own websites, however, none of the children have received their confirmation emails. We are using Outlook 365 as our email server. Any ideas on how to get the email through? I have checked each child’s junk/spam account and found nothing. I have looked on the forums as well for ideas what to do but it all sounds a bit complicated. Is there a simple solution or a way for admin just to confirm the emails?

    Hi, Two common reasons for not receiving the confirmation email are that it’s lost in a spam folder or the email address was entered incorrectly on the signup form. Since you already checked the spam folder and it’s unlikely that 30 students all entered their email incorrectly, I’ve tagged this for a staff member’s attention. They will be able to help get your accounts verified.

    Hi @healthylifestyles365, we can take a look if you’ll send a few of the email addresses.

    Also, please note we’ll need COPAA forms from the parents of each child who is younger than 13.

    Hi, Supernovia. I haven’t received my confirmation email when I applied for Gravatar. I was told that it could be that my Outlook account might not be a favoured one with Gravatar, so I changed it to a Gmail one. Still no joy. I even changed the email address on my WP contact info, and tried the whole process again from scratch, but still no Gravatar confirmation email.
    My new email address is (email visible only to moderators and staff)
    I did receive an email from WordPress with a Notice of Email Change.
    That email, (email visible only to moderators and staff) is forwarded to (email visible only to moderators and staff).
    The forwarding works as I’ve tried it.
    I’m lost…can you please help me out with this?

    @jamesjohn7 When you post into someone else’s thread, everyone who is subscribed to that thread receives an email of it.

    Staff and volunteers can better answer your question if you start your own thread either through the contact us link in your WordPressdotcom dashboard https://wordpress.com/help/contact or here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1

    @jamesjohn7 I don’t see your new thread, but I do see our emails were received by your server, so you’ll want to ask your mail host why they aren’t being delivered to you.
