no contact form option with downloaded wordpress?

  Hi everyone, and Happy New Year!

  I have WordPress downloaded through my hosting service, and I noticed that this way doesn’t give me the option for a contact form, whereas my regular WordPress blog setup does…

  I am using IPower as the Hosting service. I just want to be able to add a form to email at the end of each post for people to email questions.

  Am I missing something, or because I am using WordPress through a host, do I have to code it myself?

  Hi! For your self-hosted installation of WordPress.org you can install the same contact form with a plugin we released.

  Thank you! I will check out your plugin.

  After posting this, I learned that there was wp.COM and .ORG, and there are differences. That was my big revelation of the day. I’m spent. LOL.
