  Hello, I just updated my theme to Soho and am using wordpress for the first time. I really want there to be an image (or slideshow) on the right of my sidebar that takes up the entire space (just like on the preview of the Soho template) please let me know how to make those changes! thank you!

  Hi there,

  I think what you’re looking for is a background image. To access that, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on “My Sites”
  2. Click on the “Customize” button right next to “Themes”
  3. Click on “Colors and Backgrounds”
  4. Run your mouse over the colored box next to “Background”. A button will appear that says “Change”. Click that.
  5. A button will appear that says “Select Image”.
  6. Select or upload a picture you would like to display–Note: It’s very important that this image be a large one of very high quality. Otherwise, it can look blurry and pixelated.
  7. Click the blue “Save Changes” button.

  And voila! You should have a picture that takes up the entire space to the right of your sidebar.
