  I had a visitor yesterday on my blog (aranin.awordpress.com) but the country wasn’t shown. How can this happen?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The country location can’t always be determined for a visitor – also some locations are false, one person I know lives in Seattle, Washington, USA and their location shows up as Washington DC (3,000 miles away and on the other coast)

  Interesting. Never had that before. How can you see the location instead of just the country?

  You could use a third party tracking service such as Cluster Maps or Site Meter, there are several different ones.

  Be sure and get the plain html link that you paste into a text widget on your blog

  There were a couple of threads about large numbers of missing countries, did not pay any attention to them, but I have flagged this for the staff in case there is an issue with some blogs or countries

  Hey there! Thanks for tagging us Mike. :) We don’t have any bugs reported related to missing countries, other than what you’ve already mentioned about not always having location specific information from visitors.
