No custom / css options? Handmade Theme
-
Hi There,
I’m working with collaborators on developing a site/blog with the Handmade theme. One among us purchased the template, and wordpress has documented this in the system, but we are not able to access any of the premium options. To change the fonts, the CSS, or even utilize the other of the two page templates the theme description says we can choose between.
Is this an error? Or is it true that we would actually have to make another purchase (upgrade) in order to have access to these features?
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have too been having a big problem accessing the customize page. I cannot preview templates, or make any adjustments to the one that I have.
All I get is “loading design tools”
My site is therestauranteer.wordpress.com

therestauranteer: I have (finally) figured out the front page template process – you must have a page dedicated to “showcase” in settings, then add a designated tag to the posts you want showcased, and then go to “customize” in appearances and select the showcase page.
So I guess that’s how we get access to the second template…?
If so, it doesn’t resolve the issue of our access to other customizations, like font sizes and css adjustments, for example. Seems a bit nuts to pay 80$ for a template that would still require another 30$/year for this access… This is not at all explained in the promotional material (for the theme).

Oh – but I should add – that the above second-template-schtuff does require the customization window opening up. Which has been inconsistent for me too; but worked just now.

I’m not using a $ template, it’s a free one. But the problem I’m having is that I can’t live preview templates anymore. It worked for a few days and now I just get this retarded “tools loading page” I was considering purchasing a template now that I have my blog established, but I’m having second thoughts considering the solution to wordpress creating a support system is a community forum. I don’t know what else to do

I’m wondering then, if we encounter similar problems and have similar access, what the fee charged for the template is for….
Anyone (out there) have insight on these matters?
