no drop-down menus
-
I’m on the front page of my site and when I point my mouse to the top left-hand corner, like I always do, nothing comes up: no global dashboard, no dashboard, no stats, no comments, nothing. I’m seeing the site as if I were someone else. Thanks-
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It’s working now. I’m not sure what I did. I just went to a few other websites. Now how do you know I’m eating cookies? I ate a bunch of animal crackers last night. ha ha
-
Mmmmm, cookies. I like oatmeal raisin and anything with chocolate chips, chunks or nuts in them.

Yumm… Chocolate chips are my favorite but if the oatmeal raisin cookies are warm AND chewy, I would eat a bunch of those, too. Anyone making crispy cookies is out in left field, IMO.
Hey sacredpath, all of a sudden I am seeing a ‘contact’ page in two spots and only want it in one. (gigisanchez.wordpress.com) I want it at the top, under “home,” not at the bottom, under “stories.” It hasn’t been there and it showed up all of a sudden. I went to the widgets and added “contact -2” as part of a list of what to not include under “stories” but that didn’t work. All the pages now say -2 so I didn’t just write “2.” Any ideas?

I think this is the page ID. I don’t know what to type in the widget, though. I tried “contact -2” but I know that’s not right. And this is the same ID for where both contact pages are showing.
-
No, that is not the page ID. See this support document on how to exclude pages: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/pages-widget/ .
Do note that it may exclude that page from both locations.

It worked. I knew how to do it and forgot. I went through all the motions without going to the edit page first. Thanks.
ps: I left you a comment on your blog under your “Twiddling my Thumbs” page.

You’re welcome and thanks for the comment and the information. I will certainly do that.
