No e-mail notification

  I posted this morning and no e-mail notification was sent. I confirmed this with my own e-mail (I am a follower) and with two others who follow the blog. I deleted the first post and re-posted, and again no notification went out. Is there a way to manually notify followers that a new post has been added? Thank you.
