***Trying to set up email for my domains/blogs/sites***

Instructions were: Store → My Domains in my dashboard. Every custom domain you added to your blog will have an Edit Domain link next to it.

    CANNOT FIND EDIT DOMAIN LINK!!!

I cannot go farther than store > my domains

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

And what custom domains have you already purchased? If you haven’t purchased any, none will be displayed there.

Thanks for your response rain coaster – Not sure why it states above that the blog I need help with is saradarce.wordpress.com

In fact, the domain is projektsstudio.com

Since you are using some sort of forward and mask – you will never have the edit domain – forward and mask also has some other problems with search engines

you should be domain mapping $ 13.- / year

    Thanks Auxclass!

Ironically, not looking for any “promotions” or “seo optimization” – More, for personal use.. Do I still need domain mapping?

Seems my emails are working, after all.

Visitors will have trouble sharing a link since the true address is masked.

subscribers will get email & links to http://saradarce.wordpress.com/ not projektsstudio.com – so there will be confusion

your site will be indexed under saradarce.wordpress.com by search engines

I have domain mapping on my site – but I had the domain name before I moved here – my site has I think better identity

If you domain map then you will need to edit the DNS to keep the email working

one other thing – many people will search on a domain name when they want to visit a site – even friends that know you have a blog will do that – so if you forward & mask – the custom domain name will not be in the search results and they will have a harder time finding your blog

Ironically, not looking for any “promotions” or “seo optimization”

Just an observation – most people like to have visitors to their site – even the personal sites that are just for personal use – once a person gets a taste of a few visitors they like to see more
