No editor link under appearance

I’m trying to get into the CSS to change the title size, but there is no “Editor” link or option under “Appearance” on our dashboard. I’ve checked through the forums, and none of the solutions presented seemed to apply. How can I access the Editor function?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This is WordPress.com. It is different to WordPress.org.

To edit CSS, you must purchase the Custom Design upgrade (which is $40 per year the last time I checked) by going to Appearance > Custom Design. Then you can access the custom CSS feature as well as custom fonts and colours.

We purchased WordPress.com Premium. It looks like Custom Design is included in the package. We just want to adjust the font size of the Site Title. Maybe we’re looking in the wrong place.

You can access the CSS Editor here: http://aulibrarynews.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php#css (Appearance > Custom Design > CSS)

Thanks for the response; however, when I access the CSS editor that way, as I’d done before, no pre-existing code comes up for me to edit. Additionally, I’ve tried entering several sample lines of code supposedly designed to alter the blog title, and no changes have appeared–though using similar code to alter the entry title size (unintentionally) worked. If I’m not mistaken, we do have a wordpress.com account and address, not .org.

Yes, there won’t be any lines to edit – to change something, you have to add the lines yourself and they will overwrite the original code.

Since other code is working, it’s probably just an issue with the CSS.
