No Editor Option in Appearance (Appearance>Editor)

I am new to this and am not a coder. I have been working on this for hours and I can’t seem to figure it out. I am trying to edit my clients site and I the “Editor” section does not appear in Appearance. These are the only categories that come up under Appearance:

    Themes
    Customize
    Menu
    Options
    Menus
    Footer Text
    WP Menu Test

The theme that the site uses is Lounge.

    Thank you!

The Appearance > Editor option is a theme code editor that is only available on self-hosted WordPress.org setups and is not available on WordPress.com. If you are using a self-hosted WordPress.org setup (and it sounds like you are), then it’s possible a plugin or theme is preventing it from showing up.

To rule out a plugin or theme as the problem, you can disable all plugins and switch back to the default theme (Twenty Fifteen) and then test. If the menu item is there at that point, switch the theme back and test again. If the menu item goes away again, then the theme is the source of the problem. If it doesn’t, keep turning on the plugins one by one and testing between each change until you find the source. You can also do this type of checking with a staging or test server or a local setup.

Because your blog is not hosted here at WordPress.com, if you need further help or have additional questions, please include as much detail as possible about what troubleshooting you have done and also mention what plugins you are using in a new help request in the WordPress.org volunteer-based forums at http://wordpress.org/support/

Great! Still so many questions. I posted on the forum link you sent and included the plug ins. Thanks so much!
