No Editor tab under Appearances to embed Google Analytics code

    I’m trying to embed a Google Analytics code into my header and there isn’t the Editor tab under Appearances and I’m unaware of another way to get to header.php. I’m using wordpress.com so not able to add a plug-in. Help!

    WordPress.com does not currently support Google Analytics tracking. However, we do offer built-in statistics showing you most of the same types of information as Google Analytics would display.

    You can view your site’s stats by clicking the stats link in the grey admin bar at the top of your site. To find out more about how stats are measured and reported, see the following help page:

    You can also install Google Webmaster Tools, which contains some of the same functions as Google Analytics:
