no email comes through.

I am trying to start a new site. I will consider upgrading as I become familiar with it. I have a blog on Blogger and cannot find anyone to directly help. 4 times this year blogger will not send emails of my blog to me that I send to newspapers and email addresses. WordPress has been recommended to me by several people. I am not tech savy and do not have an IT person that I can call in.

Your account is still showing as unverified to me. If you reply to the email I sent about 45 minutes ago I can manually verify your account for you, though.

If you’re not getting any email it could be that your email address isn’t correct. Please check the email address in your account settings and make sure it doesn’t include any mistakes. If it does, fix it there and we’ll send a new confirmation email to the correct address.

e-mail address is correct. I am having a hard time even getting into the site. I am trying to get the first post which was a no post out and the first post published.

Can you please try searching your email inbox for an email from help at wordpress.com? If the email address is correct and working the email I sent you should be there. I cannot verify your account until you reply to me from that email address.
