No email confirmation

Hello, I’m trying to set up a wordpress site. I can’t do anything without getting an e-mail confirmation. I’ve tried several times today to resend it. It’s not appearing in any of my gmail folders, nor in my spam folder. I’ve seen quite a few people having this problem today. Is there a resolution?

Rachel, I did get your e-mail and replied. I’m not sure if you received it, but I’m still getting a “resend confirmation email” on the top of the pages and can’t use my wordpress.

I know @rachelmcr is working on that, but as a workaround, you can try and change the admin email to some other account you have. On the message you have this option: http://snag.gy/E8BsW.jpg
Sorry to intrude, @rachelmcr, but many users are having this issue and some are happy to solve in this way but, please, let’s check why Dustin is not receiving in the current email accont:)

I see you went ahead and changed your account email as pedger advised. That confirmed your email address and activated your account. If there’s anything more I can do to help, please let me know.
@pedger — There are a variety of reasons why the email confirmation may not work as expected, and in most cases staff can resolve the issue for them. :)
